6 die, 22 hurt in road mishap in IHK

SRINAGAR: In Indian Held Kashmir, at least six people have died and 22 others injured when their vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a ravine on Kupwara-Keran road.

Cause

The commuter bus on way to Keran went out of control and plunged into a 200-feet deep gorge leaving six people dead on the spot and injuring 22 others.

Injured

People of the area rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to District Hospital Kupwara. Some of the critically injured were rushed to Srinagar hospital.

Dead

Four of the dead have been identified as Maulvi Mujeeb-ur-Rahman, Afzal Khan, Abdus Samad Joo and Mehboob Khan, all residents of Mandian in Keran.
