Solar eclipse to occur on Nov-24
Pakistan Times Monitoring Report


KARACHI: A total eclipse of sun will occur on November 24, but will not be visible in Pakistan.

According to the Met Department, eclisped sun will be visible from Southern Indian Ocean, coast of Antarctica. The greatest eclipse will occur in Wilkes Land while partial eclipse will be visible from Newzealand, most of Australia, Southern Argentina and Chile.

Eclipse will begin at 01-46 hours PST, total eclipse at 03-19 hours and Greatest eclipse at 03-49 hours. Total phase will end at  04-19 hours and eclipse will end at 05-52 hours PST. The maximum duration of totality will be one minute and 57 second.
