ATC summons alleged activists of banned outfits for Dec-2

MULTAN: Anti Terrorism Court No. 2 Multan on Friday summoned around seven alleged activists from two banned outfits to begin trial from December 2 on allegations of provoking sectarian strife.

Sub inspector Jamil Hussain of police station Sadar Mailsi had reported on March 25 last that the accused Bashir, Allah Yar, Ayub, Zafar Iqbal, Nawaz, all activist of banned Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP), had installed party flags at their houses and at Masjid Farooq-e-Azam, Jalla Jeem Chowk in Mailsi.

Name of Muhammad Abbas, the alleged activist of banned Sipah-e-Muhammad, was written on a poster showing Kalashnikovs, said the FIR registered against all the above mentioned accused under section 11-F of Anti Terrorism Act.

Judge ATC-2 Allah Bakhsh Ranjha has summoned all the accused for December 2 for trial.
