LONDON (England): Pakistan's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Dr. Maleeha Lodhi hosted "Eid Milan" reception at Pakistan House here on late Friday.

Besides others, it was attended by a large number of Pakistani expatriates, British Pakistanis particularly women, businessmen and elite of the city.

Dr. Maleeha has been encouraging women of Pakistani origin to come forward and play their role in improving image of the country.

Such receptions give expatriates an opportunity not only to exchange Eid greetings but also share their thoughts on various issues concerning the country.

Overseas Pakistanis here are being mobilized by Dr. Maleeha to play a proactive role in projecting a true image of Islam and their country in multi-cultural society of Britain.
