KARACHI: Daimler Chrysler "Zabardast Jeep" of Adam Motor Company was unvieled by Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz Saturday at their the state-of-the-art vehicle assembly plant in Bin Qasim here.

Dubbed as a 4X4 Adventure, "Zabardast Jeep" is being introduced with 2800 CC Diesel or 2500 CC Petrol/CNG engine option with a Power steering and Air conditioner as standard.

Available both in Hard Top and soft Top, the Jeep will also be available in a Deluxe model with CD player, Leather seats and plush interior. Zabardast Hard-Top (diesel) sells for Rs 893,000 and offers strong competition to imports in its class.

With power assisted brakes system, Jeep is a 5-speed (manual), 5 door (hard top) and 4 door (soft top), has payload of 425 kg, and size of 4068x1768 mm and 1882 mm height with flexible seating options of 2, 5 and seven in Breeze white, sunset yellow, forest green, flame red and ocean blue colors, is 41 % local manufactred with a deletion target of 71 %.
