'Pakistan makes strong security arrangements for SAARC Summit'
By Maria A Khan - Pakistan Times Special Correspondent

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's Foreign Office spokesman Masood Khan said SAARC Summit will be held according to the schedule and all preparations in this regard were complete.

'Tight Security'

The security for the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Conference was already very tight and will be tightened further to allay some concerns about it, he added.

No member country has expressed its concern about security situation in Pakistan.

Strongly denouncing attack on the President Pervez Musharraf he remarked that 'those who carried out attack did not succeed in their designs nor will they ever be able to succeed.'
