Indian military kills 6 in Occupied-Kashmir

SRINAGAR (Indian Held-Kashmir): The Indian troops in their continued acts of state terrorism, martyred 6 Kashmiri youth.

Of those martyred, two each were shot dead at village Balna in Doda district, Dangiwacha in Baramulla and at village Darra, in Thana Mandi area of Rajouri district. Two innocent persons were arrested during crackdown at Tangpora, in Pulwama area.

Indian Soldier commits suicide

A frustrated Indian soldier committed suicide, in Kunzar area of Baramulla district. The dead soldier has been identified as Surrender Singh, belonging to 50-Rashtriya Rifles.

Hurriyat leader refused permission for hajj

The puppet regime in occupied Kashmir at the behest of New Delhi has refused permission to another Hurriyat Conference leader, Ghulam Ahmad Mir for proceeding to Saudi Arabia for Hajj pilgrimage.

Chairman of Peoples Movement, a constituent of APHC was to leave for Srinagar on his way for Hajj on January 16. But when he contacted Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri's office, the officials refused to issue travel documents saying that he has no permission of proceeding for Hajj pilgrimage.

Hurriyat Conference while condemning the incident termed it as suppression of religious and civic rights of citizens.

Signature campaign on

Despite the fall in temperature, the signature campaign of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front is going on unabated.

A JKLF spokesman said that JKLF leaders Noor Mohammad Kalwal, Manzoor Ahmad Sofi, Mohammad Sidiq Shah and others visited several areas in the Valley. He said that they visited Ishber Nisat, Konha Khan Dalgate, Khushipora, Ahangar Mohalla, HMT, Naseemb Bagh, Zadibal and Dolipora, Pulwama.
