SRINAGAR
(Indian Held-Kashmir): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in
their ongoing acts of state terrorism martyred two more
Kashmiris while arrested eleven others during raids in
different areas.
The troops shot dead a youth in a fake encounter at
Bramer-Narsar village in Islamabad district. Another youth was
martyred in a clash at Bandipora in Baramulla district. An
Indian soldier Pardip Kumar was also killed in the encounter.
Dead body of one Manzoor Ahmad, an employee of Education
Department, was recovered from Wasoora village in Pulwama.
The troops arrested three persons on fake charges during raids
in several localities of Sumbal-Sonawari. They were identified
as Zahoor Ahmad Butt, Pervez Ahmad Rathar and Abdul Qayyum
Wani. Personnel of Rashtriya Rifles arrested a man Pervez
Ahmad Kashi in Shopian.
Troops of
49-Rashtriya Rifles detained Ghulam Ahmad Lone, 59 in a
military camp in Qazigund Islamabad. A youth was picked up
from Alam Giri Bazar in Srinagar. Two persons were arrested in
Shpora Nagri and Balakote Mendhar. Another two were detained
in Karalapur Tanghar.
6 Kashmiris including an old man arrested on fake charges
In the continuing
harassment and arrest of common citizens ahead of India's
Republic Day on January 26, the Indian forces have arrested
six innocent persons including an aged man from different
areas on fake charges.
13 Rashtriya Rifles personnel carried out repeated raids in
Sumbal district Baramulla and arrested three youth named
Zahoor Ahmad Butt, Pervez Ahmad Rathar and Abdul Qayyum Wani.
It was snot known on what charges they have been taken into
custody.
In another raid at Wanibar Chhan area in Shopian, district
Pulwama one Pervez ahmad was arrested by 1st Rashtriya Rifles
while a 59 year old person Ghulam Ahmad Lone was taken into
custody by 49-Rashtriya Rifles soldiers form Qazigund in
Islamabad.
Meanwhile, a hand saw mill owner Mushtaq Ahmad Gassi was
nabbed by army personnel from Alamgiri bazaar in Srinagar. The
family members and next of kins of the arrested persons are
not being allowed to meet them which has created suspicion
about their safety.
