KARACHI: Mrs Dina Wadia,
daughter of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah along with her
son, Nusli Wadia and grandsons Ness Wadia and Jehangir Wadia
Friday visited the mausoleum of founder of Pakistan to pay
homage.
This was her first visit to Pakistan after 46 years. She is
settled in London while her son Nusli is settled in Mumbai and
is a leading businessman of India.
Mrs Dina also visited museum located within premises of the
mausoleum and saw the articles used by her illustrious father.
On seeing Quaid's "shervani", she remarked that she knew the
tailors. She selected three photos from her family album
available at the museum and desired the copies. The officials
looking after Quaid's Mausoleum assured her that these photos
would soon be dispatched to her through Pakistan's foreign
office.
Signs Visitor's Book
In her comments in the visitor's book she wrote, " This has
been a very sad and a wonderful (day) for me- make his dream
for Pakistan come true."
Grandson of Quaid-i-Azam, Nusli Wadia wrote in the book: " My
homage, my dream to come here has been fulfilled- I will come
back to see his dream true."
Quaid's great-grandsons (sons of Nusli Wadia) Ness Wadia and
Jehangir Wadia inked: " Thank you for every thing."
Later, Mrs Dina Wadia went to Quaid's residence of Wazir
Manson in Kharadar.
