41 Afghan nationals arrested from Pak-Iran Border

CHAGAI: Kharan Rifles, a wing of Frontier Corps, arrested 41 Afghan nationals from Pak-Iran border at Taftan on Wednesday when they were trying to illegally cross the border from Pakistan to Iran, local administration in Taftan said.

The arrested people were handed over to Levies officials for initial interrogation after which they would be entrusted to Federal Investigation Agency for further investigation.

Meanwhile, Iranian border authorities also handed over 12 Pakistanis to levies officials at Taftan who had entered the Iranian soil without any legal documents.●
