PCB forms commission to review illegal bowling action

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board on Monday appointed a five member commission to check the growth of illegal bowling at all levels in the country.

The commission comprises Sawed Fakiruddin Aizaz (Chairman), Khizar Hayat, Iqbal Sikandar, Ejaz Fakih, Aaqib Javed (members) would be free to consult experts from home and abroad.

The commission would address illegal actions at the school, club, district, junior and first class levels, their detection by umpires and coaches, the methodology of reporting them and the remedial measures to be adopted.

"The commission would be guided by international cricket council's latest proposals on illegal actions", said a spokesman of the PCB here.●
