PM appreciates Reforms programme in Punjab

LAHORE: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has said that the implementation of reforms programme of Punjab government would have positive impact on all sectors of life.

This was stated by the Prime minister during a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhery Pervaiz Elahi at his residence here on Tuesday.

The premier appreciated the steps taken by the provincial government for lending impetus to pace of development, ensuring law and order and financial discipline.

Joint Projects

Ch. Pervaiz Elahi told Prime Minister that starting of joint projects by the federal and provincial governments for socio-economic development has helped in increasing pace of overall development.

The Chief Minister sought cooperation of the federal government in ensuring additional resources for on-going and new projects.

He told the Premier that reforms programme of the provincial government is yielding very positive results in education, health, agriculture, communication and construction sectors.●
