Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission develops seedless Kino

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) has developed seedless Kino. Farmers have been provided the plants for cultivation and bulk production of Kino.

Member Bio sciences Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission Dr Kausar Abdullah Malik said on Monday.

The PAEC also plans to market indigenously developed laser land levellers which saves upto 20 percent water.

He said, Punjab government has expressed desire to get 2000 laser land levellers. The PAEC will be able to meet demand of Punjab government within five to six months.

In collaboration with the private sector the PAEC plans to facilitate exports of fruits by removing its pests.●
