Pakistani Christian community bracing to celebrate Christmas

LAHORE: Members of the Christian community living in different parts of Pakistan are bracing to celebrate Christmas, marking birth of the Holy Christ on December 25.

Christian community are busy these days in buying X-mas greeting cards and Christmas shopping while a number of departmental stores have announced concession on various items on the occasion.

The ratio of selling of Christmas cards have registered steep fall this year as most of the people prefer exchanging Christmas greetings on E-mail, a shopkeeper said.

Prices of Christmas card, specially imported ones have too registered very high this year, although Bible Society of Pakistan ar selling same at reasonable price.●
