Businessmen forum levels rigging charges in trade body election

LAHORE: The chairman Businessmen Forum, Senator, Ilyas Bilour has levelled allegations of rigging in the elections of the managing committee of A class association of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry held on Tuesday.

In a statement issued here Wednesday he said that the incident of rigging had tarnished the image of FPCCI, the apex trade body of the country.

He said that forum will continue to resist the attempts aimed at the continuation of rule by the ruling group over the FPCCI.●
