Three more newly elected councilors resign in H-Kashmir

SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, three more newly elected Municipal councilors resigned have taking the number of councilors who resigned to six.

Nissar Ahmad Dahal and Shabir Ahmad Khanday, who were elected to Shopian Municipal Committee in Pulwama district of south Kashmir on Congress tickets, announced their resignation in the day, while one Aisha, who was elected unopposed to Beerwah Municipal Committee, also announced her resignation through a newspaper advertisement.

All Parties Hurriyat Conference and other liberation leaders had launched anti-polls campaign urging people to stay away from the fake polls.●
