Aishwarya Rai: Queen of the
Bollywood
AISHWARYA Rai, the
Queen of the Bollywood,
was
born on 1st Nov 1973 in India. Ash, the scorpion, has got the looks of an
angel and a beauty that she is with lovely green eyes and blonde auburn
style and she just walks like John Wayne at 5'7.5" of height. She's got a
charm and wit which won her the 'Ms World' Crown and glory and she kills her
fans with her dress sense.
Ash's family consists of her mom Brindya and her bro Aditya. Ash's speech
skills are great and she's well-versed in English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and
French.
Ash, as she's known around the world, has an amazing grace in her
personality that no sooner than she's given her career in the modeling arena
up is she the No.-1 in the Bollywood. It's not just the grace in her which
did her the magic but behind all these achievements rests her skills,
determination, dedication to the art.
Ash, prior to her life as a model and her debut into the Bollywood, was a
first class pupil of architecture while in college and was so unhappy to
leave it when forced to oblige to the demands for her participation in 'Ms
World' competition which she strode ahead to win in the end.
The greatest thing about beauty Queen is - she all the way tries and looks
forward to giving out the best in her and one has to watch her as she moves
in to dance.
Watch her in Subhash Ghai's "Taal". She's Breath-Takingly Outstanding and
Superb.
And to say about her acting capabilities, she's a hit and she's got the
credibility for that in the Bollywood. Watch her movie - "Hum Dil De Chuke
Sanam".
Ash is everyone's dream gal in India and even elsewhere in the West. Of
course, she's had her fan association spread beyond India too becouse off
the screen, she participates and gets involved in a lot of social and
cultural activities striving for the cause of humanity.
Her looks and talent made her a sure shot winner in the beauty pageants but
faring equally well in films was a point to be debated. Would Aishwarya be
able to deliver emotions, dialogues and dance with the same élan?
Ash's first film, 'Iruvar' (in Tamil) laid an expensive egg in the south.
Ditto for 'Aur Pyar Ho Gaya' and 'Jeans'. But eventually, the girl with a
million-dollar face combined with a strong personality and intellect
conquered Bollywood.
The debate concluded and went in Ash's favor. Almost all the happening
directors and producers of Bollywood started booking her dates for their
projects. The success of 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' and 'Taal' proved that she
possessed and could deliver all that it takes to top the charts in Bollywood.
There were speculations over her being cast as Shah Rukh's sister in Mansoor
Khan's 'Josh'. People predicted doom for Ash's career when they heard of her
acting as SRK's sister in the film.
Now even those speculations have been put to rest. The film may not have
done roaring business in the box office but Ashwarya Rai is untainted.
She commands the same rating. In recent times, 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'
earned awards and acclaim abroad. That has given an international edge to
Ash's star status, something she enjoyed even with the 'Miss World' title.
All this has done the inevitable to Ash's career graph. She has the major
producers and directors chasing her--all the time for dates. Leading men in
the industry send feelers to producers to cast them opposite her. Its' a
great acknowledgment of the itellect, verve and vigor of the great
beauty--the ever-green Ash.●
