MMA Chief vows to resist US attack on Iran, Syria

ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal [MMA] President Qazi Hussein Ahmad Friday vowed to strongly resist if the US Attacked Iran and Syria.

He was addressing at a massive gathering of Aman March (Peace rally) against possible US attack on Iran and Syria, carried out by Shabab-e-Milli from Faisal Masjid to the United Nations office at Saudi-Pak Tower, reports Inp news agency.

The rally also presented a memorandum urging the UN to take pre-emptive measures regarding a possible US attack on Iran and Syria.

The protestors, carrying banners and placards, were chanting slogans against United States.

Qazi said America’s war is against Islam. “Americans want to impose their rule over the world, but, we will not let them to accomplish their evil desires,” he added.

Crusade against Islam


He said Pakistani rulers were claiming them frontline ally of the US. “General Musharraf has forgotten the fact that America’s war is not against terrorism, nor they are against a particular country, but it is crusades against Islam,” he said and added that Muslim rulers are mistaken.

“They (US) first attacked Afghanistan and Iraq and now they want to invade Iran and Syria. We should not forget that they will not confine to Iran or Syria,” Qazi warned.

He said; the government was employing US policies in the country. “The so-called enlightened moderation was actually imposition of western culture on Pakistan,” he contended.

Qazi urged Muslim Ummah to unite against anti-Islamic powers. “Muslims should enhance their defence capabilities and make them as strong as they could be able to face the western unity against Islam,” he added.

The MMA president said the rulers had also created other issues, including religious column in passport, amendment to blasphemy law and made a bid to amend the Hudood Ordinance.

He said that the rulers were trying to make the country 'a secular state by imposing un-Islamic system.'●
