Srinagar-Jammu highway closed again due to landslides

SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, the Srinagar-Jammu highway was today (Saturday) again closed to traffic due to fresh landslides.

The landslides at Ramsu, about 130 km from Srinagar, were triggered by a fresh spell of snowfall in the upper reaches of the Valley and continuous overnight rains in the plains.

Snow had also blocked the Banihal Tunnel.●
