Pakistan's MoST to develop expertise in Web Development Technologies

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) would develop expertise in various web development technologies, aimed at triggering economic activities and generating countrywide employment opportunities.

A project - ‘Centre for Software Development and Training in Advanced Databases’ has been approved which will be instrumental in generating economic activities in the field of software development.

Highlighting the objectives of the project, official sources on Tuesday said the project would provide training to approximately 1000 trainees per annum.

The sources said the government aims to spend large amount of money on human resource development to cope with the demands of the future and added this project has been approved in line with its objectives.

This will provide a great breakthrough in software development, produce capable human resources and reduce dependence, the sources said.●
