Modern education to get top priority in Azad Kashmir

KOTLI: The AJK Education Minister Ch. Muhammad Nawaz said Wednesday, the promotion of modern education at mass level was the government’s top priority, as it was not only the need of hour but also necessary to meet the future challenges.

This was stated by AJK Education Minister, Ch. Mohammad Aziz Khan and Agriculture Minister Malik Mohammad Nawaz Khan while speaking at “Education Talent Award” ceremony at Danwan 25 km away from Kotli City.

AJK Education Minister, Ch. Mohammad Aziz Khan said the AJK government has earmarked an huge amount on education, as the students are our future, it was the government’s responsibility to provide modern education facilities to them adding teachers and parents should play their role in enhancing the abilities of the future builders of the country.

He said the AJK Government has launched various development schemes in the region to bring at par with other developed parts of the country and made governmental institutions strong.

He criticized the policies of former PPP AK government and alleged PPP had done nothing for the welfare of the people of the area.

Nawaz Khan said Muslim Conference government has established 100, middle, 60, high, 150, primary schools and 45, colleges in AJK. He said every efforts are being made to resolve the people’s problems at their doorsteps.

He said Muslim Conference will win the next election with the massive support of the people. The “Talent Award” ceremony was organized by Assistant Education Officer, Kotli, Malik Muhammad Arif for conferring awards on outstanding students nd teachers. ●
