Jammu traders announce indefinite strike against VAT

JAMMU: In occupied Kashmir, Federation of Retailers Association, has given a call for an indefinite strike in Jammu region, from today (Thursday) by traders, in protest against Value Added Tax (VAT), imposed by the puppet regime from April 1.

A unanimous decision to this effect was taken by the Association, in a meeting, held here yesterday.

The Federation of Retailers Association president said, an indefinite strike is already being observed in Kashmir province of occupied Kashmir, on the call of Kashmir Traders Federation.

He said, the association will go ahead with its strike till the fulfillment of traders' demands.●
