Family accuses troops of framing their son

In occupied Kashmir, the relatives of a youth arrested by the personnel of 21 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) a few days ago here have accused them of framing their innocent son.

The relatives said, 19-year old Mushtaq Ahmad son of Muhammad Dilawar of Waderbala Handwara was arrested by the troops under the fake charges that he possessed arms.

"Troops at Waderbala told me to present my son before them. I presented him. They assured me that he will be released after questioning. Now troops are saying that he is a liberation activist and they have recovered arms from him. They have falsely implicated my son," said Muhammad Dilawar.

Mushtaq Ahmad told media persons that he is being tortured by the troops. "They are asking me to hand over the arms that I don't have", he pointed out.●
