Shahbaz cannot return without

Broadcasting Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Monday said PML [N] President Mian
Shahbaz Sharif cannot return without permission from the government.
He stated this in replying to a question, while talking to media-persons
after attending the MOU signing ceremony of tea plantation at Pakistan
Science Foundation here.
Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said, there was no ban on return of PPP chairperson
Benazir Bhutto, however, she will have to face the cases lying pending
against her in the courts of law.
“Asif Ali Zardari was bowling according to line and length but now he is
bowling wide,” he said in reply to another question. Answering another
question he said, the general elections would be held in 2007.
Kashmir Issue
He told a questioner that the issue of Kashmir would be resolved according
to the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
Talking to newsmen at National collage of Arts in Rawalpindi, the Minister
ruled out the impression that there is pressure on government to resolve the
Kashmir dispute.
He vowed that no pressure will be accepted on Kashmir dispute except to
solve the decade old matter according to the aspiration of Kashmiri people.
Good decision of President General Pervez Musharraf compelled India to sit
for meaningful dialogues to find out solution of the Kashmir dispute, he
said by adding that peace dialogues between Pakistan and India are going on
in right direction.
Sheikh Rashid asked international community including super power to play
their due role in resolving Kashmir dispute.
Shahbaz vows to give
sacrifices for country
Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League-N President Mian Shahbaz Sharif in his May
day message vowed that no sacrifices would be spared for the unity and
solidarity of the country saying that the day had far greater importance for
global as well as labour community.
"Our religion has taught to show great regard for labour and working
classes," PML-N President expressed this in a message at Labour Wing public
meeting held here Sunday in connection with Labour Day.
He called upon nation to maintain unity in their ranks to serve the country
and nation as per ideologies taught by our religion. The country got
polarized some 34 years back under well conceived plan and conspiracies, he
said adding that the rest part of Pakistan was plunging into obscenity,
lawlessness and poverty. "Prevailing situation in the country leaves me
perturbed," he observed.
He assured poverty-stricken masses of the country that soon he under the
dynamic leadership of party Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif would come home to
initiate struggle to flush out poverty, lawlessness and obscenity from the
society.●
