Kashmir dispute enters into
critical, decisive stage: Barrister Sultan

WALLSAL (UK): The ex-Prime
Minister of Azad Kashmir and Leader of the Opposition in the AJK Legislative
Assembly Barrister Sultan Mahmood Choudhry has said that Kashmir dispute has
entered into a very critical and decisive stage where the participation of
the Kashmiris in the Indo-Pak talks was very essential which could help in
the peaceful solution of the old dispute.
AJK's ex-Premier said this while addressing a meeting here at Wallsal on
Saturday. Sultan said that it was the demand of the Kashmiris that they
should be included in the ongoing dialogue process between India and
Pakistan.
He said that United Kingdom can play a better role for the solution of the
core issue and asked that Kashmiri and Pakistani community living in UK to
fulfill their responsibilities for highlighting the Kashmir issue on world
forum.
Sultan once again strongly condemned recently terrorist incident occurred in
the UK and said that it was a sorrowful incident. He also asked the world
powers to check the Indian state terrorism in Indian Held Kashmir [IHK] and
Israeli state terrorism in Palestine.
Criticising the present government in Azad Kashmir, he said that Sikandar
government was promoting the revenge politics in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
To a question, he said that an airport would also be established in Mirpur
district. He advised the Kashmiri UK community to take part in the Britain
politics and trade unions to highlight the core issue zestfully on the world
forum.
AJK's ex-Minister Muhammad Ali Advocate, Member Legislative Assembly Ch.
Arshad Hussain, candidate AJK assembly Shoukat Farid, Ch. Waheed Rassib, and
former secretary general of PPP Britain Ch. Farooq were also addressed the
meeting.●
