Complete protest strike in India held-Kashmir tomorrow

SRINAGAR (IHK): Complete protest strike will be observed all across occupied Kashmir on Monday, against upholding by the Indian Supreme Court of a subordinate courts' decision, awarding death sentence to one Kashmiri youth and conviction by the apex court of another Kashmiri youth to ten years rigorous imprisonment, in a false case.

Call for the strike has been given by the Chairman of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and the head of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Mohammad Yasin Malik, says a report transmitted by KMS.

They have expressed regrets and dismay over the Supreme Courts decision, describing it as a mockery of justice.

They also termed it as the worst example of victimization of Kashmiris, who are struggling for securing their birth right to self-determination.●
