Pakistan's stage artist Omer Sharif undegoes heart surgery

LAHORE: Pakistan’s veteran TV and stage artist Omer Sharif, who experienced cardiac attack some days back in Lahore, has re-cuperated and hoped he would be amongst his keenly-awaiting fans.

Having undergone a successful operation of his heart, he said that he was fast recovering from his illness mainly thanks to the prayers of his fans.

He has been kept in a strictly watched medical unit and would be shifted to his room in the hospital where he is admitted, according to his doctors.

His doctors voices their satisfaction over Omer Sharif’s improving health and said he was now far better.●
