Indian troops Kill nine freedom-seekers in held-Kashmir

SRINAGAR (IHK): Indian troops have shot dead nine suspected activists who allegedly snuck across the heavily militarized terrain of the Himalyan State of Jammu & Kashmir, an Indian army spokesman said on Thursday.

"The nine were killed during a night-long clash along the Line of Control [LoC]," the spokesman told French news agency.

The freedom seekers were killed after, what India contends as; "infiltrated into held-Kashmir."

Significantly, UN resolutions approved with one voice by the comity of nations for more than a dozen times allow Kashmiris to move freely within their own State without any restraints and restrictions.●
