Two die, three hurt in Karachi road crash

KARACHI: Two persons were killed and three injured in a collision between two trucks at the National Highway in Karachi’s Malir area.

A poultry truck hit another truck parked at roadside near Landhi Jail Friday morning, police said.

Two persons Meeru alias Kalu and Javed were killed on the spot in the crash, while three men Zaheer, Bakht Ali and Arshad were wounded and admitted in the Jinnah Hospital.

The truck driver responsible for the accident was escaped from the scene, Shah Latif police station sources said.●
