Pakistan Cricket Board announces two Teams

ISLAMABAD: A three days practice match between Pakistan XI and Rest of Pakistan will be played on 26 to 29 October 2005 at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, as it was scheduled to stage from 29 October to 1st November 2005.

Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) selection committee has announced the both teams for the encounter.

Speed master Shoaib Akhter will be seeing in action on the homeland after a long time, as he is to be kept in the Rest of Pakistan with other stars players including Shahid Khan Afridi. Although failed to perform well against the world’s champion Australis and dropped from World’s XI squad for t5he solitary six days test of supper series, however he has been included in the practice match.

Despite of this, Supper Series exposed Shoaib Akhter’s claims of fitness, PCB is providing full opportunity to show abilities for inclusion in the Pakistan XI against the up-coming series against England. He (Shoaib) could not display his fitness and performance in the Supper One day’s International series against Kangaroos last week.
