PCB names Pakistan A for 3-dayer against England

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) selectors on Wednesday announced a strong 14-man Pakistan A squad to face England in the second three-day tour match to be held at Bagh-e-Jinnah here from November 6 to 8.

Batsman Hasan Raza, who has been named in Pakistan’s squad for the first two Tests, will lead the A side which includes seven Test players.

The selectors have not retained any of the players from the PCB Patron’s XI who lost their three-day game to England by 52 runs yesterday in Rawalpindi.

Pakistan A squad: Hasan Raza (Captain), Imran Farhat, Taufiq Umar, Shahid Yousuf, Faisal Athar, Mansoor Amjad, Arshad Khan, Aminur Rehman, Mohammad Asif, Shahid Nazir, Mohammad Khalil, Rizwan Ahmed, Junaid Zia and Usman Tariq.●
