Punjab to Establish Industrial Data Bank

LAHORE: Punjab Government has made a programme to establish a data bank of the industries in the province, and all information regarding each industry in rural and urban areas will be available therein.

This was stated by Punjab Industries minister Muhammad Ajmal Cheema while addressing a department meeting here Monday.

On the direction of the Federal Government information about each industry in Punjab is being collected in a scientific manner, he said.

He told the Director Industries to contact the concerned chambers of commerce and industries and trade associations to ensure authentic information gathering.

He said that the concerned chambers will be very useful in this regard, and observed that with the completion of this project, local as well as foreign investors will be able to get all relevant information under one roof.●
