MIRANSHAH: A 60-member jirga of Utmanzai Wazir tribe was underway at the Governor House here till last reports on Thursday.

According to sources, Governor NWFP Owais Ahmed Ghani is presiding over the jirga which is also attended by Malik Khanzaib, Malik Shahzad, Malik Nasrullah, Qadir Khan and tribal elders of 60 tribes.

They area deliberating upon the law and order situation in North Waziristan and other crucial issues.
