
King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia due in Pakistan on February-1

MUKKAH: King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz will pay a three-day
official visit to Pakistan from February 1. President Gen Pervez Musharraf had extended him invitation when he visited the Kingdom last month to attend the extraordinary OIC Summit.
Highly placed sources said here on Tuesday that the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques would embark on a five-nation tour from January 21.
The visit will take him to China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia and Pakistan.
During his stay in Pakistan, King Abdullah would have extensive discussions with Pakistani leadership on bilateral, regional and international issues confronting the Muslim Ummah.
Sources hinted that Kashmir issue would figure during his talks both in India and Pakistan.
During the king's visit, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia would sign at least three agreements for expansion of bilateral cooperation.
The President will host a banquet in honour of the King while Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz will call on him. There is also possibility of the King's visit to Lahore for a brief time.•
